What to Make of Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that range is solid.

Platforms

Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.

FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set once it is live.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The speed is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform your assessment.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.

The complete breakdown, covering regulation, withdrawals, review tabtrade pricing, and check here the bonus website terms, is at tradetheday.com.
